After graduating from San Jose State's Illustration and Animation program, Joy started her professional career working in the Children's "Edutainment" Industry. Her first stop was at an educational, on-line gaming company.

Then she took a job creating art for educational CD-ROMs. In 2003, Joy did illustrations for a published children's picture book called "One Christmas Story." She has spent the last four years at a giftware company doing product designs and just quit her job to pursue illustration.

Joy really just wants to be creative, hoping to work on freelance art and children's book illustration. Joy lives with her husband, Miniature Dachshund and petite tuxedo cat in their cozy little house in Fremont, CA.
